Things to know about Ripples on the Creek Cabins

TV/DVD Player - A television with a built-in DVD player is provided for your enjoyment. Please note that we do not have normal television reception, and that it is set up for DVD's only. There is a small collection of DVD's provided in the cabin.

Stereo – There is a small stereo system provided in the cabin to allow you to enjoy some music while you eat a meal or simply relax. The stereo has an iPod dock located at the bottom of the unit. We also provide a small collection of CD's in the cabin.

Mobile Phone Reception – If you’re mobile phone service provider is Telstra, than reception at Ripples on the Creek is quite good. If you are with an alternative provider though, then reception can be very poor.

Cooking Facilities – Contained in the cabin kitchen is a bar fridge, microwave, electric frypan, electric kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, saucepans , frypan, microwave containers, chopping boards, various cooking utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery. Located on the cabin deck is a 4-burner hooded BBQ, which also has a side-burner.

Smoking  - Please be advised that smoking inside the cabins is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You are permitted to smoke on the cabin deck and other outside areas. Guests are asked to be careful when smoking, as we are located in a bushfire prone area.

Linen – Linen is provided and is serviced on a weekly basis only, however extra linen can be arranged on request for a $10 fee.

Water - All water inside the cabins comes from a rainwater tank and is filtered. The water to the tap in the kitchen also has been through a second filter, and so we recommend guests use this water for drinking. Water for the spa comes from the creek, and is filtered using an in-line filter.

Laundry – there are no laundry facilities in the cabin, however there is a Laundromat located in Kyogle. Address is 27 Summerland Way, Kyogle.

    RATES:

    $170 / night -> Fri and Sat

    $150 / night -> Sunday - Thursday

    PLUS $40 surcharge for one-night stays

    10% DISCOUNT for 5 or more nights

    Extra persons requiring linen and/or breakfast supplies will be charged at $30 per person per night.

    Christmas/Easter/New Year - minimum 2 night stay, 20% surcharge.

    Other Public Holidays - minimum 2 night stay.

     

    These rates include a continental breakfast hamper for two, which contains cereals, bread for toast, butter, spreads, milk, fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee, and fruit juice.

     

    Please note that these rates are current to 31st of December 2012, and are subject to change thereafter.

  • Sit back in your private outdoor spa bath while sipping champagne as you watch the creek flow by
  • Go for a refreshing swim in one of the many swimming holes along Grady’s creek just metres from your door
  • Go for a walk to the top of the hill to take in the beautiful views
  • Relax on your verandah while reading a book, or simply doing nothing!
  • Explore the grounds of the property, while keeping your eye out for some of the local wildlife including birds, wallabies, and platypus.
  • Unwind on the spacious lounge as you enjoy some relaxing music or flick though the magazines provided.
  • In winter, cuddle up in front of the gas log fire and indulge in some hot chocolate and marshmallows.
  • Enjoy a scrumptious meal on the verandah of the Ripples on the Creek Restaurant.
  • Treat yourself to one of our delicious Dinner Hampers for Two, allowing you to eat at your own convenience and in the privacy of your own cabin.
